This NDT flawed specimen kit is designed to facilitate the training, practice and procedure development of equipment and NDT technicians working with the Radiographic Testing method (RT). With 20 flaws in each kit, they are designed with precise flaw placement in a wide variety of specimen geometries and alloy types.
The RK-1 kit is delivered with five 0.375” (9.5mm) plates, three 0.625” (18.9mm) plates, one 0.375” (9.5mm) tee and one schedule 80 pipe 4.0” (101.6mm), x-ray film, with two randomly placed discontinuities (flaws) per specimen. Delivered with complete documentation for each flaw (20 flaws).
