System designed to detect and identify radioactive materials contained in a moving vehicle loaded with dense material (Metal recycling).
The complete system consists of detector assemblies (1 to 5 panels), infrared presence sensors, Window based controller, large touch-screen monitor, printer and all required drawings (installation, concrete base, electrical).
- Compliant to ANSI N42.38 / IEC 62484, ANSI N42.42 / IEC 62755.
- Energy range: 20 KeV to 3.3 MeV.
- Large Sodium Iodide thallium doped crystal detectors (NaI(Tl)) 16″ x 4″ x 2″ (405mm x 102mm x 50mm).
- Energy resolution: 8% or better at 662 keV.
- Detection/identification sensitivity: meets ANSI N42.38 (2006) / IEC 62484.
- System can be calibrated for specific isotopes.
- Software with detailed alarm information (positioning); data storage (alarms and clean); remote calibration, service and monitoring; multi-level security password control and multiple languages.
- Email ready for sending alarms and errors.
- Maximum speed: 20 km/h.
