The Sonagage IV is useful for the testing of a variety of materials on a regular basis. This is aided by the 8 velocities of common materials (aluminium, steel, stainless steel, cast iron, plexiglass, PVC, polystyrene, polyeurethane) and 2 velocities that can be user-set using the simple software program.
With a measuring range of 0.20mm to 508mm (0.008” to 20”), the IP54-rated Sonagage IV is a small and lightweight unit weighing only 8 oz and measuring only 76.2mm x 127mm x 31.8mm (3” x 5” x 1.25”). With an operating temperature of -20°C to 50°C (-4°F to 122°F) and a 50-hour operating battery life, this unit can be used in almost any outdoor setting.
Standard kit includes: UT Thickness gauge, DKS-537 twin crystal 5MHz 0.37”/9.52mm dia. potted probe, cable, couplant, 2 AA alkaline batteries, 128 x 64 Graphics LCD monochrome display, plastic carrying case, operating manual, and 1-year warranty.
