RadLab, Laboratory Gamma Spectrometer

Ultra-low background laboratory gamma spectrometer for high accuracy detection and identification of contaminants in samples (metal, slag, dust, rocks and others). The system is especially designed to ensure the products released meet the International Atomic Energy Association (IAEA).

  • Maximum sample size: 6″ in diameter x 6″ high (152mm x 152mm)
  • Energy range: 30 KeV to 3.0 MeV.
  • Multichannel analyzer: 512 channels using a high-sensitivity Sodium Iodide thallium doped crystal detectors (NaI(Tl)) 3″ x 3″ (75mm x 75mm).
  • Energy resolution: 8.5% or better at 662 keV.
  • Adjustable limit thresholds (Bq/g) per isotope.
  • Detection/identification sensitivity: less than 0.02 Bq/g (Cs-137) in slag or steel sample.
  • 100-220VAC, 50/60Hz.
  • Windows based RADLAB Software.
  • System weight: 450lb (204kg).
