Quality NDE, Modular Post Emulsifiable Penetrant Line

Quality NDE’s standard, twelve stations Post Emulsifiable liquid penetrant lines can be shipped at a fraction of the time and price of a custom system.

Designed with safety in mind, our cantilever roofed stations are post free in the front so user can easily move the parts. The Dryer meets the ASTM C1055 for hot external surfaces and easily meet the ±15ºF (8.3ºC) temperature variation throughout the dryer inside volume.

Once you approve the specifications, equipment layout drawing will be supplied so utility drops and plumbing connections can be located on site prior to receiving your liquid penetrant line.

Standard Post Emulsifiable System includes:

  • Standard: Aluminum grills for Station 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11.
  • Station 1 – Penetrant dip tank with hinged lid. Inside: 36”L x 24”W x 16”H. Stainless steel frame and tank.
  • Station 2 – Dwell with hinged lid. Inside: 36”L x 24”W x 6”H. Stainless steel frame and tank.
  • Station 3 – Pre-Rinse tank with rigid backsplash, 12” side splash guards, mixing valve with temperature gauge, pressure regulator with pressure gauge, hose and spray nozzle. Inside: 36”L x 24”W x 16”H (back at 72”). Stainless steel frame and tank.
  • Station 4 – Drain. Inside: 36”L x 24”W x 6”H. Stainless steel frame and tank.
  • Station 5 – Emulsifier dip tank with air agitation and hinged lid. Inside: 36”L x 24”W x 16”H. Stainless steel frame and tank.
  • Station 6 – Rinse tank with rigid backsplash, cantilever roof with overhead LED UV lights, mixing valve with temperature gauge, pressure regulator with pressure gauge, hose and spray nozzle. Inside: 36”L x 30”W (+24” overhead) x 16”H (top at 84”). Stainless steel frame and tank.
  • Station 7 – Drain. Inside: 72”L x 24”W x 6”H. Stainless steel frame and tank.
  • Station 8 – Dryer, tunnel type, meeting ASTM C1055 so no external surfaces shall be hot (including doors). Electronic adjustable calibrated temperature control with overload protection. Delivered with calibration certificate. Inside: 72”L x 30”W x 45”H. Stainless steel inside, painted steel outside. Available in 240VAC 460VAC or 575VAC.
  • Station 9 – Cooling. Inside: 36”L x 24”W.
  • Station 10 – Swirl cloud Developer, tunnel type with automated controls, HEPA certified dust collector. Inside: 36”L x 30”W x 45”H. 120VAC.
  • Station 11 – Transfer station. Inside: 72”L x 30”W.
  • Station 12 – Inspection table with curtains, cantilever roof with fan and white LED overhead light, articulated support for handheld UV lamp, black polypropylene top. Inside: 72”L x 30”W (+24” overhead) x 39”H (top at 84”). 120VAC.

Options:

  • Polypropylene top, 3/8” holes every 2”, for stations 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9 and 11.
  • Power immersion grille for penetrant and/or rinse stations.
  • Stainless 304 rollers with sealed bearings for stations 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.
  • Galvanized steel rollers with sealed bearings for stations 9, 10 and 11.
  • Polyurethane covered rollers for scratch-free parts for station 1 to 11.
  • Pre-rinse and rinse station with counterweight guillotine doors.
  • Rinse stations with rigid sliding side wall (price per side).
  • Rinse stations with back wall anti-splash grille.
  • Rinse stations with mist collector, HEPA certified.
  • Rinse station Portable UV light kit, Item QUV3000K
    • UV-3000, Portable REL Magnum GO LED UV and White Lamp. IP68, it provides a 9” (23cm) diameter UV output above 1,000 μW/cm2 at 15” (38cm) with a white light above 700 foot-candles at 15” (38cm). Delivered with ASTM E3022 and RRES 90061 certificates, 90-264VAC power supply.
    • Articulated support for handheld UV lamp.
  • Dynamic Cloud Developer station with pressure tank injector kit, air regulator and pressure gauge.
  • Corner station, 90 degrees.
