Rugged, fully electronic coating thickness gauge available in a number of models to measure thickness on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, accurately and quickly. The PosiTector body accepts all PosiTector probes converting your coating thickness gauge to a dew point meter, surface profile gauge, shore hardness durometer, wall thickness gauge and more (see probe compatibility chart here attached).
USB, Wifi and Bluetooth connectivity to PosiSoft PC, MAC and Smarthphone software. Durable, it is solvent, acid, oil, water and dust resistant (IP65) and delivered with a 2 year warranty.
Standard kit includes:
- PosiTector 6000 data logging unit, PosiTector probe (depending on kit ordered), with 4-foot cable (1.2m), plastic shims, protective rubber holster with belt clip, wrist strap, three AAA alkaline batteries, USB cable, PosiSoft software, user manual, calibration certificate and rigid transport case.
ONLY common coating gauges are listed below. Others also available – specify the coating material, coating thickness, substrate, probe style and connector type.
- 6000-FS1: POSITECTOR 6000 for non-magnetic coating (0 to 60 mils) over ferrous metals with separate probe – memory for 1,000 readings.
- 6000-FS3: Advanced POSITECTOR 6000 for non-magnetic coating (0 to 60 mils) over ferrous metals with separate probe – memory for 250,000 readings.
- 6000-NS1: POSITECTOR 6000 for non-conductive coating (0 to 60 mils) over non-ferrous metals with separate probe – memory for 1,000 readings.
- 6000-NS3: Advanced POSITECTOR 6000 for non-conductive coating (0 to 60 mils) over non-ferrous metals with separate probe – memory for 250,000 readings.
- 6000-FNS1: POSITECTOR 6000 for coating (0 to 60 mils) over all metals with separate probe – memory for 1,000 readings.
- 6000-FNS3: Advanced POSITECTOR 6000 for coating (0 to 60 mils) over all metals with separate probe – memory for 250,000 readings.
